For developers and AI agents
Social publishing your code and agents can drive.
Outboxer is not another social media manager’s calendar. It is publishing infrastructure: an API and MCP server that let your software and AI agents draft, validate, schedule and publish posts across networks, inside the brand rules and approvals you set.
API first, with an MCP server
Every action in the app is a documented REST endpoint with an OpenAPI 3.1 spec, stable error codes and idempotency keys. The MCP server exposes the same operations to Claude and other agents.
Agents as first-class users
Give each agent its own API key, scopes and workspaces. Its posts are labeled as agent-authored, and humans see what it drafted, changed and published.
Human review when you want it
Drafts can go to a review queue where people approve, comment on or reject them. Agents get notified by webhook and can revise.
Validation before anything ships
Versioned rule packs encode each platform's limits: text length the way the platform counts it, media formats, aspect ratios, required disclosures. Agents can validate a post and get machine-readable fixes.
Brand rules agents can read
A design system per brand (voice, banned terms, required disclaimers, colors, fonts, assets) that agents fetch as a prompt and that validation enforces. Import it from markdown.
Scheduling and queues
Exact times, per-channel queue slots, campaigns, per-platform variants and threads. Publishing retries safely without double-posting.
Seven networks
X, LinkedIn, Facebook Pages, Instagram, Threads, TikTok and YouTube. Brand owners connect accounts through a link; agents never handle passwords or OAuth.
Inbox, metrics and webhooks
Replies, comments and messages land in one inbox with reply support. Post metrics are collected for you. Signed webhooks report every state change.
Safe to experiment
Test-mode keys and sandbox channels run the whole pipeline (validation, review, scheduling, publishing) without touching a real account.
Who it’s for
- Developers building content pipelines, products or internal tools that publish to social networks.
- Teams running AI agents that write and schedule posts, with people reviewing what goes out.
- Agencies automating many brands, each with its own rules, channels and approvers.
If you want a drag-and-drop calendar to post by hand, a traditional social media tool will suit you better. The web app here exists to review, approve and oversee what your automations do.
Connect an agent
Point an MCP client at the server with an API key:
npx mcp-remote https://mcp.outboxer.dev/mcp \
--header "Authorization: Bearer obx_live_…"Or call the API directly:
