Terms of use
These terms govern your use of Outboxer, a social media publishing service operated by Outboxer (“we”, “us”). By signing in or using the service, including its API and MCP server, you agree to them. If you use Outboxer for an organization, you confirm you may accept these terms on its behalf.
The service
Outboxer lets you draft, review, approve, schedule and publish posts to social accounts you connect, and read and answer the replies and messages they receive. Features may change over time. We may suspend or end features that a social platform stops supporting.
Your account
- Keep your sign-in links and API keys secure; you are responsible for activity under your account and keys, including by automations and AI agents you connect.
- Give accurate information and tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized use.
- Organization administrators control who can access workspaces and what they can do.
Connected social accounts
- You may only connect accounts and Pages you own or are authorized to manage.
- You must follow the rules of each platform you publish to, including the X Terms of Service, the LinkedIn User Agreement and Meta’s terms and community standards.
- Platforms can change their APIs, limits or prices, reject a post, or revoke access at any time. We are not responsible for a platform’s decisions, and a post scheduled through Outboxer is not guaranteed to publish.
Your content
You keep all rights to the content you create and upload. You give us a limited license to host, process, transmit and display it only as needed to run the service for you, including sending it to the platforms you choose. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the rights to publish it.
Acceptable use
You must not use Outboxer to:
- post spam, coordinated inauthentic activity, or automated content that violates a platform’s automation rules;
- publish unlawful, infringing, deceptive, harassing or hateful content, or impersonate others;
- collect or scrape other people’s data, or use platform data for surveillance or advertising profiles;
- break, probe or overload the service, get around its limits or permissions, or access other customers’ data;
- resell the service or use it to build a competing product, unless we agree in writing.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and will tell you when we can.
Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data. If you use the inbox to process other people’s comments and messages, you are responsible for having a lawful basis to do so.
Fees
If your plan has fees, they are set out in your order or agreement with us. Platform charges, such as X API credits billed to your own developer account, are your responsibility.
Ending your use
You can stop using Outboxer at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or end access if you break these terms, if the law requires it, or if we stop offering the service, with notice where reasonable. On termination, your right to use the service ends, and we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Changes
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here with a new date, and tell account owners about significant changes in advance by email.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the place where Outboxer is established, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes.
